It is not far now! The
opening is imminent.
A panel of DEHOGA representatives visited
the hotel in January and the
Classification according to the guidelines of
the European star classification. After the
conversion of three formal points (bilingual
website) we can decorate ourselves with
three stars ***.
After completing the electrical work, all that
is missing now is the fire alarm system and
the interim inspection to get to the market
with 5 rooms. In the future, you can book
directly with us, or via the booking portal
Booking.com.
A joint work
Regional craftsmen, who have been
entrusted with drywall, painting, flooring
and carpentry for three years now, have
delivered a showable performance. By
specially set craftsmen, the plumbing,
electrical and tiling were provided.
But also some Balinger citizens got involved.
In the form of granted personal loans for the
shell, as well as the equipment. The funds
raised in a total amount of over € 50,000
over maturities between 3 and 5 years are
proof that committed fellow citizens are
certain that the project "Hotel Bahnhof
Balingen" is a safe investment in the future.
The right project in the
right place
Whether the plans under the renovation
program "Supplementary Program City
Center II", or the latest reports on the
redevelopment of the area around the
former Württemberger Hof. Something
happens at the station. If the plans are
implemented, visitors to the Kleinen
Landesgartenschau will be presented with a
completely different entrance area to the
city in 2023. Complemented by newly
created retail space around the station, the
square and the building regain their
importance as an important hub.
Economic engine of the
hospitality industry
It can be read from the statements of the
Federal Statistical Office that the
accommodation industry in Germany now
has to increase for seven years in
succession. Here are business travelers as
well as the more tourist-oriented weekend
or holiday guest.
In the five-and-a-half years since the station
was acquired, more than € 800,000 has been
invested in the restaurant and hotel, and in
addition to 10 full-time social insurance
posts, part-time jobs and mini-jobs have
been created.
The question of some visitors to the
construction site: "From which funding pot
are you supported?" I had to answer so far
unfortunately with "from none".
While at others the privatized stations
receive public support, this is unfortunately
not the case in Balingen.
